The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy throws a nice looking combination but Cardoso bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Anderson Cardoso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cardoso tries for a takedown but Hardy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No joy there for Hardy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cardoso shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hardy pinned against the cage. Hardy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hardy lands with a thumping leg kick.
Cardoso closes the distance and clinches up with Hardy, looking for a takedown. Cardoso pushes Hardy against the cage but Hardy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dan Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Cardoso.
Hardy stuffs the takedown attempt from Cardoso. Cardoso gets slowly back to his feet.
Hardy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hardy misses with the combination.
Cardoso shoots for a takedown but Hardy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hardy scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cardoso in his tracks.
Cardoso changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hardy tries to avoid it but Cardoso manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hardy to the ground. Hardy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cardoso tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hardy swivels and escapes.
Cardoso fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Cardoso looks gassed!
Hardy lands a head kick. Cardoso smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Cardoso is rocked!
Hardy scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Cardoso is still on wobbly legs! Can Hardy finish him?
Hardy lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Cardoso falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
