The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dole misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.

Dole forces Gracie back against the cage and clinches.
Gracie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dole walks away with a smile on his face. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown but Dole manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gracie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gracie blocks a jab.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Dole shows good takedown defense.
Bob Dole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Gracie.
Dole stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dole.
Dole lands with a straight right. Gracie didn't see that one coming.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dole pinned against the cage. Dole gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dole defends it nicely.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Dole shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dole lands a right hook to the body.

Dole lands a hook that snaps the head of Gracie backwards.

Gracie has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dole after a bit of a struggle.
Gracie tries to score a body lock takedown but Dole shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Gracie tries to pull guard but Dole won't allow it.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Dole.
Dole presses Gracie against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Dole lands a shot to the body.

Dole pushes Gracie back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Dole manages to break the clinch.
Dole scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gracie doesn't seem bothered though.
Dole lands the left hand.

Dole forces Gracie back against the cage and clinches.

Dole pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gracie's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dole connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gracie scrambles back to his feet.

Gracie is rocked!
Dole circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Gracie tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Dole wins by KO!
