Paige has chosen Drowning Pool - Step Up as his entrance music. Stan Paige has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Andy Artukovic's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Paige throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Artukovic shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Artukovic takes one to the side of the head.
Paige throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Paige misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Paige lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Artukovic steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Paige.

and Paige counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Artukovic goes down! Paige rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Artukovic is up to one knee.... 8,9.... He's up! The referee says he's good to go, so we're back to the action!

Artukovic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Paige tries to avoid it but Artukovic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Paige to the ground. Paige escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Artukovic. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Paige has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Paige is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Paige creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Paige swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
and Paige counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Artukovic! He's just covering up as Paige starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
