PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Spider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocky Marciano told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Rocky Marciano!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano throws a looping overhand right but Spider ducks down to avoid it.
Marciano takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Anderson Spider has been cut.
Spider will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Marciano doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Marciano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Spider keeps Marciano at a distance using the push kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spider lands a nice leg kick that just misses Marciano's sensitive parts.
Marciano looks gassed!
Spider cracks Marciano with a right hand to the side of the head.

It looks like Rocky Marciano has been cut.
Spider throws a right and a left that Marciano avoids nicely.
Spider lands with a nice body kick.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Marciano has eaten all the pies!

Spider lands a big head kick that sends Marciano tumbling to the mat! Spider takes a step backwards and waves Marciano back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Marciano is rocked!
Spider grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Marciano takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Spider cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
