PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Scrooge McDuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and I Shiv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDuck comes to the cage accompanied by Scrooge McDuck. The crowd seem to be enjoying Shiv's choice of entrance music: Calcutta. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shiv fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Shiv scores with a push kick.
Shiv fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Shiv slaps away a takedown attempt from McDuck, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Shiv throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Shiv throws a front kick that sends McDuck stumbling back into the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shiv throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McDuck stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McDuck is breathing heavily.
Shiv with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Shiv moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Shiv changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Shiv lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

McDuck takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Shiv lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McDuck on the wrong end of a nice hook.
McDuck looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shiv is fending him off so far but McDuck persists. Nope, Shiv circles away and we're back to standing.
I Shiv is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shiv thumps McDuck with a low kick.
Shiv scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Shiv drops McDuck with a beautiful combination! McDuck stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Shiv is looking for the KO!

McDuck is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shiv feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! McDuck collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

After winning the bout, I Shiv thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
