Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marva Kuebler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ming Maoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maoki clinches up with Kuebler and pushes him back against the ropes.
Kuebler blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Maoki is looking to control Kuebler's arms but Kuebler gets an underhook and turns him. Now Maoki has his back to the ropes.

and Kuebler counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Maoki's guard now.

Kuebler drops back looking for a leg! Maoki is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Maoki manages to kick Kuebler off! Kuebler jumps back into Maoki's guard.

Kuebler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kuebler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maoki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kuebler has managed to get both his arms back between Maoki's legs - danger averted.

Maoki has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kuebler is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Maoki.

Maoki wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Kuebler has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Maoki's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Maoki is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Kuebler!
