Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Manson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Indian War Song. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Hicks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Manson throws a chopping leg kick but Hicks manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hicks has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Manson.
Manson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hicks defends it nicely.

Manson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hicks swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Hicks cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Manson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hicks checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Manson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Manson connects with a leg kick. Hicks looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That was a close round but I would say that Dwayne Hicks will probably get the nod.

Hicks is looking to wear down Manson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Manson lands a head kick. Hicks smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Manson shoots in but Hicks avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Manson throws a shot from downtown. Hicks moves away and avoids it.
Manson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Hicks tries to score a power double leg takedown but Manson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hicks somewhat.

That kick from Manson tenderised Hicks's leg. Hicks is trying to keep his angry face on.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Manson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hicks but Hicks pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Manson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hicks tries to avoid it but Manson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hicks to the ground. Hicks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Manson throws a series of strikes that have Hicks backpedaling.
Hicks lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hicks. Manson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Manson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Manson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hicks as he avoids it easily.
Manson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hicks bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Manson's head backwards.

Manson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Hicks looks to land a left hand but Manson moved out of range nicely.
