Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kurokawa Kenji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenneth Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Williams's choice of entrance music: Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kenneth Williams!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenji looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Williams moves out of range of the strikes.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kenji darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kenji.
Kenji moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kenji does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Williams swings for the body but Kenji moves out of range.
Kenji takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Williams takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kurokawa Kenji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Williams misses with a head kick.
Williams throws a nice inside leg kick.
Williams takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kenji digs a good body shot into Williams's ribs.

Kenji scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kenji throws a series of punches but Williams moves out of range.

Williams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kenji.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kenji.


That has opened up Kenneth Williams's cut even more.
Kenji lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kenji throws a head kick that misses.
Kenji throws a leg kick which misses Williams's front leg but catches the back leg as Williams tries to avoid it.
Kenji with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kenji scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kenji swings for the body but Williams moves out of range.
Nice shot lands for Kenji.


The cut above Kenneth Williams's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kenji dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Williams. That did some damage!

Williams takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kenji looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Williams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kenji sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Williams somewhat.
Kenji dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kurokawa Kenji is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kenji. That's going to slow Williams down.
Kenji lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kenji fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Williams is out of range.
Kenji lands a head kick. Williams smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kenji misses with a low kick.
Kenji misses with an uppercut.

Williams takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kenji misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Williams.
Williams bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kenji throws a low kick but Williams avoids it.
Kenji avoids the body shot from Williams.
Both fighters circling a little - Kenji finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Williams pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kenji is out of range and Williams settles back down.
Kenji jabs Williams to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kenji connects with a solid leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Williams staying out of range there.
Kenji connects with a solid leg kick.
Kenji throws out a leg kick but Williams moves out of range and Kenji only half commits.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Kenji sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kurokawa Kenji is winning the standup battle so far.
Kenji lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Williams moves forwards but Kenji connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kenji lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kenji misses the shot to the body.
Kenji scores with a jab. Williams acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kenji tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Williams is able to avoid easily.
Kenji scores with a decent looking hook.


Kenneth Williams's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Williams blocks a head kick by Kenji.
Williams tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kenji cracks Williams with a good jab.
Kenji fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Williams checks it well.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Kenji chopping away at his opponent's legs.

A solid leg kick lands there for Kenji.
Kenji scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kenji connects with an inside leg kick.
Kenji lands a head kick!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kenneth Williams's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kurokawa Kenji!
During a confident post fight interview, Kurokawa Kenji thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
