The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pfeifer leaves Encarnacao with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Encarnacao has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Jack Encarnacao has been cut.
Encarnacao tries to clinch up.
Pfeifer sizes up Encarnacao with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Encarnacao shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pfeifer as he jumps to the side.
Pfeifer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Encarnacao backs up against the cage.
Encarnacao is rocked!
Pfeifer is stalking Encarnacao. Encarnacao circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Pfeifer, and it's lights out! Encarnacao really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vitali Pfeifer!
