Hernandez throws a head kick that misses.
Hernandez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Patrick fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hernandez to the ground. Patrick is now in Hernandez's guard.
Patrick tries to free his leg and advance position but Hernandez is retaining full guard.

Patrick has gone for a leg lock! Hernandez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Patrick's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Patrick is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Patrick looking for a guillotine here but Hernandez defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hernandez is sitting in close to Patrick's body. Patrick has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hernandez is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hernandez is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Patrick.
