Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charles Darwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Prime Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Prime Time told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime Time takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Donk. Darwin catches Prime Time right on the button with a cross.
Darwin swinging wildly here.
Prime Time slips under a jab.
Prime Time tries to clinch
and Darwin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Darwin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Darwin throws a lazy right hand but Prime Time sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Darwin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Prime Time tries to clinch up.
Darwin looks to land a right hand but Prime Time moved out of range.
Prime Time keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Prime Time checks a leg kick.

and Prime Time takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Darwin lands a jab to Prime Time's midsection.
Prime Time is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Prime Time tries to close the distance and clinch but Darwin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Prime Time fails with an attempt to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Darwin. Prime Time does a little dance to reset his feet.
Darwin takes a swing at Prime Time's ribcage but misses.
Prime Time tries to clinch but Darwin moves away
enabling Darwin to counter with a crisp jab.
Darwin swats away the attempt to clinch by Prime Time.
A big right from Darwin misses.
Prime Time uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Darwin.
Darwin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Darwin throws out a powerful jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Darwin swats away the attempt to clinch by Prime Time.
Prime Time gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Darwin.

It looks like Mike Prime Time has been cut.
Darwin dips to his left and cracks Prime Time with an uppercut!
Mike Prime Time is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Darwin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Darwin lands in his opponent's guard.
Prime Time looks gassed!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Darwin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Prime Time's guard.

Darwin is working for a kimura but Prime Time is defending it quite comfortably.
Well, if Darwin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
