Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommi Kaleva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Stafiano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaleva comes to the ring accompanied by Fort Minor - Remember The Name. This should be a great matchup!

With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lucas Stafiano!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stafiano stalks Kaleva and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kaleva's face. Kaleva staggers backwards, shaken.
Stafiano defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kaleva.
Stafiano scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tommi Kaleva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaleva shoots for a takedown but Stafiano saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kaleva shoots for a double leg takedown but Stafiano sprawls well. He's pushed Kaleva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommi Kaleva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stafiano stuffs the takedown.
Stafiano throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kaleva.
Stafiano tries to bum rush Kaleva with a series of wild strikes but Kaleva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kaleva shoots in for a double leg but Stafiano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kaleva doesn't manage to clinch there - Stafiano circles away.

and Stafiano counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Stafiano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Stafiano throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kaleva tries to close the distance and clinch but Stafiano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stafiano slaps away a takedown attempt from Kaleva, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A combination from Stafiano does no damage.

Stafiano goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Stafiano thows a left - swing and a miss!

Kaleva shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stafiano's guard.
Kaleva loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kaleva stands and throws Stafiano's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kaleva tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kaleva advances to mount.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Kaleva throws some wild stikes that Stafiano manages to avoid easily.
Kaleva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kaleva thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Kaleva throwing strikes here but Stafiano is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Stafiano tries to control Kaleva's body but Kaleva pushes him off. Stafiano squirms to his side and now Kaleva has his back!
Kaleva tries to get the hooks in deep but Stafiano pushed the leg off.

Kaleva controls the action.
Stafiano is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Kaleva off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Kaleva's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kaleva sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Stafiano taps out!
