The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooh a lovely combination from Owen sends Muhammed down but not out. Owen dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Akbar Muhammed has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Owen tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
You can see the frustration on Muhammed's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Owen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muhammed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Muhammed manages to work his way to half guard, despite Owen's best efforts.
Owen is keen to just control but Muhammed is a slippery customer.
Muhammed makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Muhammed.

Owen wants to stand but Muhammed has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Muhammed wants to sweep but no luck.

Muhammed might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Muhammed is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Muhammed is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Muhammed is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Owen is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
