Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hashmallim Zadkiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mao Zedong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zadkiel comes to the cage accompanied by Morbid Angel - God of emptiness. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mao Zedong!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zadkiel misses with a series of wild punches.
Zadkiel goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Zadkiel throws a leg kick but Zedong moved away.
Zedong throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zadkiel scoring well with a low kick there.
Zedong listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

It looks like Hashmallim Zadkiel has been cut.
Zadkiel misses with a double jab.
Zedong throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Zedong lands a big uppercut and Zadkiel crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Zadkiel looks OK. Zedong waves Zadkiel back to his feet!

Zadkiel is rocked!
No joy there for Zedong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oh Zadkiel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zadkiel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zadkiel seems to have got his legs back now.
Zedong tries to bum rush Zadkiel with a series of wild strikes but Zadkiel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Zadkiel is looking to clinch but Zedong is avoiding it.

Zedong swats away the attempt to clinch by Zadkiel.
Nice takedown defense from Zedong. No joy for Zadkiel on that attempt.

Zadkiel is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Zedong throws a right and a left that Zadkiel avoids nicely.
Zedong throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A combination from Zedong does no damage.
Zedong lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zadkiel circles away quickly and effectively.

and Zadkiel counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Zedong thinking.
Zadkiel dives in and grabs Zedong's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zedong pushes down on Zadkiel's head and hops out.
Zedong stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zedong wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hashmallim Zadkiel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zadkiel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Zadkiel is breathing heavily.
Zedong lunges at Zadkiel with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Zadkiel's hand.

and Zedong counters with a nice right hand that sends Zadkiel toppling to the canvas! Zadkiel scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Zedong finish him?!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Zadkiel. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Zedong circles away from the clinch attempt.

Zedong cracks Zadkiel with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Zadkiel looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Zedong finish him?
Zedong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zadkiel.

Zedong stuffs the takedown attempt from Zadkiel. Zadkiel gets slowly back to his feet.

Zadkiel takes the fight into the clinch.

Zedong blocks the elbow strike.
Zadkiel wants to break free but Zedong has control.

Zedong manages to break the clinch.
Zedong throws a series of punches but Zadkiel avoids them all with ease.
Zedong misses with the combination.
Zedong throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Zadkiel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Zedong wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hashmallim Zadkiel has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Zedong fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zedong cracks Zadkiel with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Hashmallim Zadkiel's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Zedong keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Zedong lands with a nice body punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mao Zedong dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hashmallim Zadkiel's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Zadkiel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zedong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Zedong has cracked Zadkiel with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Zedong lands another huge swinging hook and Zadkiel tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Zadkiel, before Zedong can land any more shots!
