Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sahraim Alib (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshida Kotaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotaro has chosen Dance Yourself Clean as his entrance music. Yoshida Kotaro acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotaro shoots in for a takedown but Alib shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kotaro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alib swivels and escapes.
Alib misses with a lunging right hand
and Kotaro counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Alib darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kotaro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Alib seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Alib keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Kotaro wants to improve his position but Alib is controlling well.
Kotaro pushes Alib off but Alib dives into side control.

Alib lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kotaro down.

Alib is trying to stick to Kotaro's back but Kotaro is turning into Alib. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Alib's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kotaro.
Alib wants to sweep here but Kotaro controlling him for the moment.
Alib has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Alib has a closed guard, preventing Kotaro from standing up.
Alib is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kotaro wants to stand and escape but instead Alib has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Alib might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Alib cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Kotaro is rocked!
Alib lands with a big left! Kotaro is wobbled badly! Alib comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Kotaro to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
