The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rawn.
Rawn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Neder pinned against the cage. Neder gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Neder is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Rawn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Rawn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Neder defends it well.
Neder has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rawn is working away from the top position though.

Neder tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Rawn presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Neder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rawn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

It looks like Derek Neder has been cut.

Rawn has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Neder's face.

Neder is squirming around, avoiding Rawn's attempts to control the action.

Neder is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Rawn locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Neder is forced to tap!
