The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Broberg enables Linic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Broberg manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Linic is looking to work some ground and pound but Broberg has wrist control.
Linic slips nicely into half guard.
Linic is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Broberg defends it well.
Linic is looking to take a break and control but Broberg is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Linic is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
