Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gunmetal Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grey comes into the arena with Killed By Death blaring out of the sound system. Stevenson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Higher Ground - Red Hot Chili Peppers. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Stevenson shoots in for a takedown but Grey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Grey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stevenson was covering up waiting for the punch and Grey finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Stevenson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Grey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Grey wants to get up but he can't break Stevenson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stevenson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Stevenson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grey swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stevenson is working Grey over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Stevenson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Stevenson seems to have locked his on tight now - Grey screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Stevenson, as he picks up the win!
