Govatos is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Six Foot Seven. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Govatos fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lapid sprawls well initially but Govatos persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Govatos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lapid. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Govatos connects with a nice short shot to Lapid's temple.
