Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furuichi Takayuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takayuki closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ferreira's guard.
Ferreira wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Ferreira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Takayuki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Takayuki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Takayuki wants to control from the top but Ferreira keeps moving.

Takayuki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Takayuki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Takayuki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Takayuki thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ferreira is trying to control Takayuki's posture but Takayuki avoids it.

Ferreira is looking to regain half guard here but Takayuki keeps moving and retains side control.

Takayuki is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ferreira is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ferreira tries to buck Takayuki off but Takayuki is having none of it.

Takayuki has hold of Ferreira's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ferreira tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Takayuki cranks the arm and Ferreira screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ferreira, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
