Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anatoly Egorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Kaptiam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anatoly Egorov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Eric Kaptiam's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anatoly Egorov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eric Kaptiam!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egorov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Egorov moves into full mount!
Egorov won't let Kaptiam get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Kaptiam looks gassed!

Egorov lands with some strikes.
Egorov wants to finish this one by submission but Kaptiam is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Egorov.
Kaptiam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Egorov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Egorov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Egorov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Egorov is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Kaptiam is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Kaptiam flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Egorov anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Kaptiam and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Egorov slips an arm under Kaptiam chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Egorov has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Egorov is squeezing on Kaptiam like an anaconda would it's prey. Kaptiam fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Anatoly Egorov!
