Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Russel Cameron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khelmike Tomboi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cameron comes to the cage accompanied by Surfin Bird. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cameron gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Tomboi counters with a takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Cameron's face as Tomboi controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cameron is looking for a sweep.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tomboi has eaten all the pies!

Tomboi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cameron knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tomboi tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Khelmike Tomboi.

Tomboi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cameron to the mat! Cameron manages to get full guard.

Tomboi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Tomboi has hold of Cameron's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Cameron tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Tomboi cranks the arm and Cameron screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Cameron, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
