The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Jeans misses the target.
Auditore pushes Jeans up against the cage in a clinch.
Auditore has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jeans takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Jeans breaks from the clinch.
Jeans misses with a looping right.

Jeans moves out of range as Auditore throws a body kick.
Auditore ducks under a wild hook from Jeans.
Jeans tries to clinch up.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Auditore jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jeans is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jeans and Auditore has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Auditore has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jeans is proving hard to escape from.
Auditore avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Jeans bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Auditore's guard.
Jeans postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jeans lunges at Auditore with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Auditore's hand.
It looks like Damiano Auditore has been cut.
Auditore looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jeans!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Auditore is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jeans is looking for a sweep. Auditore is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jeans on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jeans tries to get out of the position.
Jeans is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Auditore's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Auditore's back!

Auditore is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Jeans lands a shot to the head.
Jeans punches Auditore on the ear.
Auditore is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jeans lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Jeans is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Jeans is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Auditore is defending well though. Jeans let's go of the attempt for now.

Jeans working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Auditore is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Jeans has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Auditore taps out!
