Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Guillote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Guillote!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jason Miller!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Miller with that takedown attempt.

Guillote drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Miller is looking for a triangle but Guillote pushes his legs off easily.
Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guillote. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Miller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Guillote wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.
Guillote content to stall in guard here.

Guillote drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Guillote jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Miller pulls Guillote in close to prevent any damage.

Guillote gets to his feet. Miller looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Guillote shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Miller but Miller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Guillote misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Guillote has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Guillote. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Miller gets the takedown into side control.
Guillote is not content to let Miller control the position.

Miller laying and praying for a moment but Guillote takes advantage and regains half guard.

Miller wants to pass to mount but Guillote is defending the position.
Guillote is holding on to half guard well.

Miller wants to take a breather but Guillote is having none of it.

Miller is looking for a kimura here.

Miller seems to be looking for submissions.
Miller is nestled in close to Guillote, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Miller is stalling here. Guillote is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Miller seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Guillote has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Guillote is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Miller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Guillote looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Guillote is putting a hurting on Miller here, landing some big shots from side control.
Guillote lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Miller down.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Guillote working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
What's Miller going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Guillote has a takedown stuffed.
Miller shoots for a double leg takedown but Guillote sprawls well. He's pushed Miller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Miller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Guillote pinned against the cage. Guillote gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Miller scores with a kick to the body.

Miller scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Miller in side control, throwing shots but Guillote defends.

Miller swings around for an armbar but Guillote sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Miller's guard.
Miller wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Guillote stands up over Miller, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guillote throwing strikes from guard but Miller blocks nicely.

Guillote stands and steps away. Miller gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Miller gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Miller ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Miller no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Guillote makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Guillote pushing down on Miller's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Guillote throwing shots but Miller is blocking nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller is looking for a sweep. Guillote is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Miller is breathing heavily.

Guillote in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Miller tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Guillote!
