Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernest Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Baginski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baginski has chosen WALECZNE SERCE as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Baginski cracks Bass with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bass misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bass shoots in looking for a takedown but Baginski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bass's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Baginski slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Bass takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Baginski tests Bass's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bass swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Baginski throws a right and a left that both miss.
Baginski needs to keep his hands up - Bass had a free shot at his head there.

Bass throws a hook but Baginski avoids it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bass throws a shot from downtown. Baginski moves away and avoids it.
Baginski tries for a takedown but Bass sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Baginski closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bass's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Baginski works over Bass with some ground and pound from guard.
Baginski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Baginski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

It looks like Baginski might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
