PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milka CroCow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atchen Bryde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). CroCow comes to the cage accompanied by Ratatat - Loud Pipes. On his way into the cage it seems that Milka CroCow has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Milka CroCow seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryde tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but CroCow was well out of range. Poor timing from Bryde.
Bryde just misses with a punch to the body.
Bryde fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. CroCow looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
CroCow misses with a few strikes there.
A combination from CroCow does no damage.
Bryde tries to clinch there but CroCow circles away.
Bryde walks forward, straight into a front kick from CroCow.
Bryde looks gassed!
Bryde looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
CroCow dodges the punch combination from Bryde.
CroCow scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Atchen Bryde has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
CroCow with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
CroCow will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

CroCow has managed to clinch.
CroCow lands a body punch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from CroCow.
CroCow goes for a takedown attempt but Bryde pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

CroCow has taken the fight to the clinch.

CroCow is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Bryde misses with a short punch on the inside.
Bryde is trying to maintain a safe position but CroCow gets an underhook and turns Bryde into the cage.
CroCow just leaning against Bryde, taking a breather.

CroCow breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

CroCow lands a head kick that stumbles Bryde and the fighters go to the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
CroCow trying to control but Bryde is working from the bottom.
CroCow forces his way into half guard.

CroCow is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bryde sees it coming and defends easily.

CroCow controlling the action here.
Bryde tries to roll over but CroCow keeps him under control.
CroCow throwing shots but Bryde is blocking nicely.
CroCow looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Bryde blocking the ground and pound attempt from CroCow.

CroCow wants to work for an arm triangle but Bryde is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
CroCow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bryde does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

CroCow is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bryde defends it well.

CroCow moves into full mount! Bryde won't be happy about that!

CroCow is working for a guillotine from mount but Bryde frees his head quite easily.
CroCow trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bryde wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by CroCow.
CroCow misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Atchen Bryde's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

CroCow scores with a head kick.
CroCow shoots in for a takedown but Bryde shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
CroCow throws a head kick but Bryde moves out of range.
CroCow lands a leg kick that knocks Bryde off balance momentarily.

CroCow drops Bryde with a right and a left! CroCow comes rushing in but Bryde regains his composure and manages to keep CroCow in guard.

Bryde is rocked!

That has opened up Atchen Bryde's cut even more.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
CroCow not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Bryde is still in real trouble! Can CroCow finish him?

CroCow is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

CroCow drops back looking for a leg! Bryde is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bryde manages to kick CroCow off! CroCow jumps back into Bryde's guard.
CroCow is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
CroCow passes into half guard.
Bryde is breathing heavily.

Bryde is defending against the submission attempts here by CroCow.
Bryde seems to have recovered his senses.
Bryde avoiding damage under a succession of punches from CroCow.

Poor strikes thrown by CroCow there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

CroCow throws some wild stikes that Bryde manages to avoid easily.
CroCow throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

CroCow stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
CroCow is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bryde can do to turn this around?

CroCow forces Bryde back against the cage and clinches.
Bryde misses with the head strike.
Knees in the clinch landing for CroCow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

CroCow breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

CroCow closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

CroCow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
CroCow throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Bryde crashing down! Bryde tries to stagger back to his feet but CroCow just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Bryde asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
