Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mister Kviser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Bohlander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bohlander gets the takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
You can see the frustration on Kviser's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kviser parries the strikes from Bohlander easily there. Bohlander is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kviser to escape.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kviser is trying to control Bohlander's posture but Bohlander avoids it.

Kviser tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bohlander wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Bohlander suckers Kviser into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Bohlander is now in Kviser's guard!

Kviser has his foot on Bohlander's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bohlander works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kviser shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bohlander pinned against the ropes. Bohlander gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Bohlander counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Kviser working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bohlander doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bohlander manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kviser will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kviser has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bohlander can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bohlander stalling away here and it's allowed Kviser to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Kviser has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bohlander should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kviser has tightened it up now! Bohlander should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
