Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Krane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeremy Dillon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Danny Krane!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Krane fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nice takedown defense from Dillon. No joy for Krane on that attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Krane.
Jeremy Dillon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Krane.
Dillon is looking to clinch but Krane is avoiding it.
Dillon shoots in and drives through. Krane sprawls well.
Krane dives in and grabs Dillon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dillon pushes down on Krane's head and hops out.
Krane tries for a takedown but Dillon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Krane counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Krane.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Krane wants to pass the guard but Dillon is keeping the position.

Krane throwing strikes but missing.
Krane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dillon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Krane is looking to work some ground and pound but Dillon has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dillon is trying to keep Krane in close.

Dillon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Krane is aware though and is defending well.
Krane controlling from the top position.
Dillon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krane on the ground.

Krane is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Krane trying to control but Dillon is working from the bottom.
Dillon is trying to keep Krane in close.
Krane trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Dillon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Dillon is trying to keep Krane in close.
Dillon is breathing heavily.
Krane wants to control from the top but Dillon keeps moving.
Krane throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dillon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Krane is looking to work some ground and pound but Dillon has wrist control.
Krane is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dillon controls Krane momentarily but Krane frees himself.

We're going to have a standup here because Jeremy Dillon wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Krane is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dillon's half guard.

Krane is working for a submission of some sort.
Krane looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Krane thows a huge punch but Dillon dodges it nicely.
Krane moves nicely into side control.

Krane decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dillon to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Krane closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dillon's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Krane thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danny Krane dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Krane closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Krane trying to control the position but Dillon is working away.
Dillon manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Krane has one foot on Dillon's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Krane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dillon tries to avoid it but Krane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dillon to the ground. Dillon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dillon gets caught flat footed, as Krane shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Krane stands and throws Dillon's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dillon is trying to improve his position.
Krane wants to control but Dillon is keeping him busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Krane is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dillon has escaped the position, nice work there.

Krane wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dillon, who protects the arm well.
Krane in side control lands a decent elbow.
Krane lands a decent elbow from side control.

Krane is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dillon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Krane scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Dillon to see if he's OK.

Krane passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Dillon!

Krane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Krane has hold of Dillon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dillon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Krane looking to control but Dillon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Krane is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Dillon is in real trouble.
Danny Krane has got the better of the ground game so far.

Krane is cranking Dillon's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Dillon! He's tightened the choke and Dillon is tapping out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Danny Krane!
After the fight, Danny Krane was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
