The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Garcia.
Garcia throws a head kick that misses.
Rua takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Garcia throws a head kick but Rua moves out of range.
Garcia connects with a jab.

Rua drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Rua decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and Garcia cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Rua fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Garcia, pushing him back against the ropes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rua tries to free his leg and advance position but Garcia is retaining full guard.

Garcia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rua gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
