PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between eat Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyler Killian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killian is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Who Let the Dogs out - Baha men. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killian misses with a takedown attempt
and Me counters with a stiff right hand.
Killian throws a head kick that misses.
Me lands with a hook. Killian tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Killian scores with a head kick. Me tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like eat Me has been cut.
Killian looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Me changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Killian looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Killian is not content to let Me control the position.
Me sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Killian is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Me creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Killian sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Me decides to stand back up. Me steps back and let's Killian get back to his feet.

Killian lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Me backs up against the cage.
Killian has a takedown stuffed.

Killian shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Me as he jumps to the side.
Killian throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Me ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Killian moves away.

Killian closes the distance and clinches up with Me, looking for a takedown. Killian pushes Me against the cage but Me circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Killian lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Me circles away quickly and effectively.
Me scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Killian misses with a wild combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Me shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Killian but Killian pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Me looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Me takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Me bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Killian's head backwards.

and Me counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Me.

Me's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Killian dives in and scores a takedown into Me's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Me is trying to control the position but Killian postures up.
Me has control of Killian's left arm, preventing Killian from doing any damage.
Killian wants to stand but Me has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That was a close round but I would say that eat Me will probably get the nod.

Me is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Killian is just riding it out for now. Me eventually gives up the hold.

I would just about give that final round to Kyler Killian.
