Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gus Hardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Freddy Smith!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardt stuffs the takedown.
Smith connects with a single shot there.
Hardt jabs Smith right on the nose. Smith blinks but takes it well.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hardt sprawls well. Hardt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Hardt takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Freddy Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hardt takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hardt misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hardt as he jumps to the side.
Gus Hardt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Smith.
Smith throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Smith misses with a body kick.
Smith looks to land a right hand but Hardt moved out of range.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Hardt.
Hardt throws an off balance right hand
and Smith counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hardt misses the shot to the body.
Hardt on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Smith. Smith obviously looking to wear him down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith defending well as Hardt loads up on a big left hand.
Hardt dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Smith lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hardt will feel that in the morning.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
A slapping body kick lands there for Smith.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smith throws a half hearted mid kick.
Smith misses with a body kick.
Hardt misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Smith counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hardt's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Smith connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hardt scrambles back to his feet.
Hardt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Smith sizes up Hardt with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hardt sprawls well. Hardt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Sloppy strikes from Hardt. Those never looked like landing.
Smith tries to land a front kick but Hardt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hardt looks to land a right hand but Smith moved out of range.
Smith thows a body kick. Hardt tries to catch it but that hurt him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddy Smith dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hardt throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it.
Smith shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hardt is trying to defend but Smith finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hardt on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hardt tries to get out of the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hardt trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Smith manages to pass to mount!
Smith throws some wild stikes that Hardt manages to avoid easily.
Smith postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Hardt is out cold - huge knockout for Smith!
