Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xi Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Babar Barappas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dong comes to the ring accompanied by Long Dong Jam . Xi Dong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dong looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dong tries to close the distance and clinch but Barappas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dong ducks under a wild hook from Barappas.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Barappas wants to get up but he can't break Dong's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Dong had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Barappas is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dong Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Barappas's back instead.
