PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overdose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Welsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overdose comes into the arena with Powerthirst blaring out of the sound system. Welsh has chosen Wicked as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welsh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Overdose stuffs the takedown attempt from Welsh. Welsh gets slowly back to his feet.
Welsh throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Overdose thows a body shot but no joy.
Welsh stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Overdose.
Welsh misses with the combination.
Overdose ducks under a wild hook from Welsh.
Overdose goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Johnny Welsh has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Overdose throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Welsh's waist but Welsh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Overdose off to one side.
Overdose tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Welsh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Welsh throws a sloppy head kick and Overdose moves out of range easily.
Overdose moves out of range of the leg kick from Welsh.
Overdose fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Welsh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Welsh fails to land with a series of punches.
Welsh looks gassed!
Welsh stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Overdose.

Overdose connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Welsh to the floor! Overdose dives in looking for the finish!

Welsh is rocked!
Overdose will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Overdose works his way into side control.
Welsh is still in real trouble! Can Overdose finish him?
A big shot lands for Overdose! That's hurt Welsh! Will he recover? Overdose fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
