Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zanpa Leonidas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leomar Tungaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonidas comes to the cage accompanied by Take It Outside. Leomar Tungaw is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leomar Tungaw!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tungaw is looking to clinch.
A good leg kick by Leonidas.

Tungaw gets tackled into the cage by Leonidas. Leonidas maintains the clinch.
Leonidas gets underhooks to prevent Tungaw's takedown attempt.
Tungaw wants a takedown.
Tungaw tries to pull guard but Leonidas forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Zanpa Leonidas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leomar Tungaw.

Leonidas jumps guard and drags Tungaw to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Leonidas wants to sweep here but Tungaw controlling him for the moment.
Leonidas wants to get back to his feet but Tungaw is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Leonidas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tungaw on the ground.

Leonidas is really struggling to control Tungaw but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Tungaw stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leonidas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Leonidas manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Tungaw closes this distance looking for a takedown but Leonidas circles away.

Tungaw gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Leonidas to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Leonidas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Leonidas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tungaw has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Leonidas has managed to get both his arms back between Tungaw's legs - danger averted.

Zanpa Leonidas has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Tungaw wants to clinch.
Leonidas misses with a double jab.

Leonidas clinches with his opponent.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Leonidas manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Tungaw does no damage.
Tungaw fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tungaw looks gassed!

Leonidas fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tungaw to the ground. Leonidas is now in Tungaw's guard.

Tungaw is working an open guard so Leonidas takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Leonidas stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Tungaw connects with a good right hand that stumbles Leonidas. Leonidas circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tungaw is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tungaw is defended easily by Leonidas.

Tungaw avoids a punch combination nicely.

Tungaw gets tackled into the cage by Leonidas. Leonidas maintains the clinch.
Tungaw tries to throw a body punch but Leonidas avoids it by throwing Tungaw back against the cage.
Tungaw changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Leonidas fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Leomar Tungaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Tungaw enables Leonidas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tungaw manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Leonidas wants to control from the top but Tungaw keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zanpa Leonidas dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Tungaw throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Leonidas's waist but Leonidas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tungaw off to one side.

Leonidas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tungaw is trying to defend but Leonidas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Leonidas is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Tungaw reverses the position - he's now on top in Leonidas's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tungaw accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tungaw passes Leonidas's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Leonidas makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Tungaw tries for a takedown but Leonidas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Tungaw drops down looking for an ankle pick but Leonidas pulls his leg out and moves away.

Leonidas wants the takedown. Tungaw is fighting it off but Leonidas persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tungaw's guard against the cage.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Leonidas is on top in guard.
Leonidas tries to free his leg and advance position but Tungaw is retaining full guard.

Tungaw pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tungaw misses with a takedown attempt - Leonidas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Leonidas tries to kick Tungaw off but Tungaw keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Tungaw is keen to just control but Leonidas is a slippery customer.
Leonidas is trying to stand up here but Tungaw is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tungaw connects with a nice short shot to Leonidas's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tungaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Leonidas keeps working.
