Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Cuvler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Lidell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuck Lidell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cuvler shoots in for a double leg but Lidell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lidell throws a shot to the body.
Cuvler misses with a takedown attempt
and Lidell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cuvler takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Lidell lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cuvler tries to keep at a distance but Lidell has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lidell lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Lidell digs a right hand into Cuvler's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Cuvler's gas tank.
Cuvler is breathing heavily.
Cuvler wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyler Cuvler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lidell lands with a light punch inside.
Lidell lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cuvler or not.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lidell, as that shot connected.
Cuvler shoots in for a takedown but Lidell shows good takedown defense.
Cuvler's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lidell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cuvler scrambles back to his feet.
Lidell lands a body shot.
Lidell jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lidell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cuvler.

Lidell cracks Cuvler with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Cuvler looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lidell finish him?
Lidell punishes Cuvler's body with a nice straight punch.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cuvler. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Lidell goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Lidell closes the distance and pushes Cuvler back into the cage.

Lidell manages to break the clinch.

Cuvler gets a double leg takedown into Lidell's guard.
Cuvler wants to stand but Lidell is controlling his posture from full guard.

Lidell keeping moving, preventing Cuvler from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tyler Cuvler.
Lidell fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lidell drops Cuvler with a beautiful combination! Cuvler stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lidell is looking for the KO!

Cuvler is rocked!
Lidell stuns Cuvler with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Oh Cuvler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lidell lands with a cross.
Cuvler shoots in looking for a takedown but Lidell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cuvler's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Lidell lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Cuvler can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Lidell and Cuvler drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Lidell.
