Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Yoshihira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuro Kyou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katsuro Kyou has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kenji Yoshihira's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyou shoots for a double leg takedown but Yoshihira sprawls well. He's pushed Kyou's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kyou misses with a two punch combination.
Yoshihira tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kyou on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Yoshihira. Yoshihira obviously looking to wear him down.

Kyou shoots in looking for a takedown. Yoshihira tries to sprawl out of it but Kyou keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yoshihira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Yoshihira is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kyou is trying desperately to land a takedown but Yoshihira is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kyou.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yoshihira takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
