PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Max (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quik Yin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I Got A Feeling (lol :P). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Max!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quik Yin!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Max uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yin.
Yin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Max doesn't seem bothered though.
Max uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yin.
Yin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Max's waist but Max gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yin off to one side.
Max throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Max pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Yin back to the ropes. Max follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Yin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Max tries to avoid it but Yin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Max to the ground. Max escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Yin blocks a head kick by Max.
Max throws a shot from downtown. Yin moves away and avoids it.
Yin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Max pinned against the ropes. Max gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Scott Max has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quik Yin.
Yin misses with an uppercut.
Yin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Max lands with an overhand left.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Max swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Max bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Max throws a nice outside leg kick.
Yin looks gassed!
Max fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yin drops his hands momentarily and Max takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Max cracks Yin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Max - that will leave a mark!
Max dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yin. That did some damage!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Max lands with a hook. Yin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A chopping leg kick lands by Max.
Max lands with a nice combination. Yin backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Quik Yin has been cut.

Oooooh!!! Max has knocked Yin down with a huge combo! Max steps away and waves a wobbly Yin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Yin is rocked!
Yin moves out of range as Max strikes.
Yin is still on wobbly legs! Can Max finish him?
Max pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Yin slips under a jab.
Quik Yin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Max ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Yin out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Scott Max!
Scott Max really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hellbent, Inc.™ logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
