Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kingsley Tepes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kingsley Tepes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tommy Little!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tepes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Little avoids it really well and circles away.

Little shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Little showed some decent athleticism there.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Little missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Little is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Tepes trying to control from the bottom.

Tepes is staying active underneath Little, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Tommy Little has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Tepes fails with the takedown.

Little shoots in and bounces Tepes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Little really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tepes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tommy Little wasn't active enough on the ground.
Tepes shoots in looking for a takedown. Little tries to sprawl out of it but Tepes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Little manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Little throws an elbow that misses. Tepes uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Little's guard. Nice move by Tepes!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Little has control of Tepes's left arm, preventing Tepes from doing any damage.

Little keeping moving, preventing Tepes from controlling successfully.
Tepes prevents Little from getting back to his feet.

Tepes looking to sit in guard and control but Little gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tepes throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Tepes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Little closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tepes quickly recovers to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


A swing and a miss from Tepes.

Little is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tepes's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Little is looking to advance position but Tepes won't allow it.
Tepes wants to get back to full guard but Little has mounted him!
Little trying to control but Tepes is having none of it.
Tepes wants to hold on but Little pushes him away.

Tepes keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Tepes holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Little tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Little punching from mount but Tepes doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Little is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Tepes to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tepes shrugs it off.

Little throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Little sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Little trying to control but Tepes is having none of it.
Tepes wants to control but Little is having none of it.

Little tries to control but Tepes wriggling away.
Tepes keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Little sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Little tries to control but Tepes wriggling away.
Tepes is desperately trying to improve his position but Little has a good base and remains in mount.

Little stuffs the takedown attempt from Tepes. Tepes gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tommy Little showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Little shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tepes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Little sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Little stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tepes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Tepes wants to sweep here but Little controlling him for the moment.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tommy Little wasn't active enough on the ground.
Tepes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Little manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Little moves in looking to clinch but Tepes pushes him off.
Little wants to clinch up but Tepes keeps it at a distance.

Little dives in and scores a takedown into Tepes's guard.

Tepes is working an open guard so Little takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Tepes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Little takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Tepes thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tepes is trying to control the action in half guard but Little is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
