The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uusierkki walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Crockett checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Uusierkki.
Uusierkki gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Crockett connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Uusierkki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Crockett is fending him off so far but Uusierkki persists. Nope, Crockett circles away and we're back to standing.

Uusierkki is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Crockett can't fight it off and eventually Uusierkki manages to take the fight to the floor. Crockett looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Crockett wants to stand but Uusierkki is controlling the position.
Crockett trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Uusierkki throws his legs up looking for a submission but Crockett uses it to pass to side control.

Uusierkki uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Crockett.

Uusierkki shoots in for a double leg but Crockett sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Crockett counters with a nice low kick that buckles Uusierkki's knee momentarily.

Crockett clinches up against the cage.
Uusierkki jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Crockett walks away with a smile on his face. Uusierkki gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Uusierkki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crockett sprawls well. Crockett wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Uusierkki gets slowly back to his feet.

and Crockett counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Crockett.
Uusierkki has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Crockett after a bit of a struggle.
Crockett lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Uusierkki is trying to pull guard but Crockett has him pressed against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crockett is pressed up against the cage. Uusierkki has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Crockett down to the mat. Crockett avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Crockett connects with a solid leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
