The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Bigalow finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Bigalow closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Zero's guard.

Zero tries to lock up and control but Bigalow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Bigalow closes the distance and clinches up with Zero, looking for a takedown. Bigalow pushes Zero against the cage but Zero circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bigalow displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zero.

Zero avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zero shoots for a double leg takedown but Bigalow sprawls well. He's pushed Zero's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice takedown defense from Zero. No joy for Bigalow on that attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Zero closes the distance and clinches up with Bigalow, looking for a takedown. Zero pushes Bigalow against the cage but Bigalow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Zero feints and as Bigalow raises his hands in defense, Zero changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Zero remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Zero wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bigalow keeps working.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Nero Zero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
