Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorn Anthriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Thiago Souza has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Thiago Souza seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anthriel listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Jorn Anthriel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Souza takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Anthriel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Souza's head backwards.

Anthriel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Souza, pushing him back against the cage.
Oh Souza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anthriel is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Souza is trying to pull guard but Anthriel has him pressed against the cage.
Souza seems to have got his legs back now.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thiago Souza. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anthriel lands a nice shot to the body.

Anthriel lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Souza jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anthriel walks away with a smile on his face. Souza gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Anthriel goes for a small jab and connects. Now Anthriel goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Souza stumbles back but Anthriel runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Souza to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Souza will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
