The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mako misses with a combination
and Ronan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mako misses with a looping right.
Ronan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mako looks to score with a jab to the body but Ronan is just out of range.
Ronan clobbers Mako with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mako tries a head kick but it misses.
Mako throws a head kick that misses.
Mako misses with a hook.
Mako throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mako.
Ronan digs a good hook to Mako's body.
Ronan connects with a body shot that sends Mako's belly button to the back.
Mako looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ronan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Mako misses with a series of wild punches.

Mako takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Ronan scores with a three punch combo!
Ronan clobbers Mako with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ronan rushes Mako with punches - Mako moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Mako goes down! Ronan follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
