Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hongan Kolistaja!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vares uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kolistaja.
Vares throws a jab but it's blocked by Kolistaja.
Kolistaja lands the left hand.
Vares tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kolistaja paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kolistaja lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vares at a distance.
Vares lands a jab to the head.
Kolistaja throws out a loose jab but Vares uses good head movement to avoid it.
Vares moves to clinch but Kolistaja breaks away
and Kolistaja counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vares motions for Kolistaja to come forward. Vares throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kolistaja connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Vares's hands.
A clash of legs there as Kolistaja blocks the low kick.
Kolistaja misses with a hook. Vares ducked under it nicely.
Vares misses with a wild body shot.
Kolistaja with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Vares is breathing heavily.
Kolistaja lands a big uppercut and Vares crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Vares looks OK. Kolistaja waves Vares back to his feet!
Vares is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Kolistaja ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Vares clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hongan Kolistaja!
