The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Czajka swats away the attempt to clinch by Zaroni.
Czajka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zaroni pinned against the cage. Zaroni gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Czajka drives through with a takedown into Zaroni's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Czajka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zaroni's waist but Zaroni gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Czajka off to one side.

Zaroni is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Horrible takedown by Czajka or perhaps it was just good defense by Zaroni which made him look bad.

Zaroni shoots for a double leg takedown but Czajka sprawls well. He's pushed Zaroni's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Czajka is pressed up against the cage. Zaroni has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Czajka down to the mat. Czajka avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Zaroni wants to stand up but Czajka is controlling him.
Zaroni has momentary wrist control but Czajka slips an elbow through the middle.

Czajka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Czajka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
