Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Crawford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boyo Skum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Crawford misses
and Skum counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Crawford pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Skum forces Crawford back against the cage and clinches.
Skum is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Skum has had enough of the clinch but Crawford keeps him there for the moment.

Crawford is fighting off a takedown attempt but Skum is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Crawford to the mat. Crawford regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Crawford kicks Skum off and gets to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crawford throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Crawford gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Crawford is wriggling around but Skum manages to pass to half guard.
Skum trying to control the action but Crawford is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crawford has one foot on Skum's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Crawford throws a sloppy head kick

and Skum counters with a takedown into side control.
Crawford is breathing heavily.
Skum trying to control the action but Crawford is working from the bottom.
Crawford wants to get back to his feet.
Crawford dodges the ground and pound from Skum.
Skum tries to advance to mount but Crawford denies him.
Skum tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Crawford wants to get back to his feet but Skum drags him back down.
You can see the frustration on Crawford's face as Skum controls the position.

Crawford stops Skum from passing to mount.
Skum tries to score with some ground and pound. Crawford controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Skum is looking to take a break and control but Crawford is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Skum wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Crawford, who protects the arm well.
Skum tries to stand but Crawford is controlling his head.
Skum wants to control but Crawford is keeping him busy.

Skum tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Skum has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Crawford tries to escape but Skum is in control.

Crawford avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Skum.
Skum landing a few strikes.
Skum prevents Crawford from escaping the position.
Skum lands some shots froms side control.

Skum decides to stand back up. Skum steps back and let's Crawford get back to his feet.
A head kick by Crawford misses
and as Crawford loses concentration momentarily, Skum counters with a picture perfect head kick! Crawford goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Boyo Skum!
