Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Quirke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slide has chosen Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Marcus Quirke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kimbo Slide!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quirke comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Quirke showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Slide.
Slide displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Quirke throws out the jab.

Slide has Quirke up against the cage in a clinch.
Slide tries to pull guard but Quirke won't allow it.
Slide jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Quirke walks away with a smile on his face. Slide gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Slide displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Quirke throws out the jab.

Quirke throws a hook but Slide blocks it.
Quirke throws a big shot that misses.
Quirke scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Slide blocks a jab.
Horrible takedown by Slide or perhaps it was just good defense by Quirke which made him look bad.
Marcus Quirke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kimbo Slide.
The fighters circle momentarily. Quirke darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Quirke misses with a body shot.
Quirke scores with a decent looking hook.
Quirke stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Quirke wants it to stay on the feet.

Quirke keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Slide moves away from the strike by Quirke.
Slide has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Slide there as he acknowledges the shot.
Quirke throws a hook but Slide blocks it.
Slide moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Quirke drops Slide with a huge uppercut! Slide drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Quirke is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
