Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jordan Timmons has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garcia closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Timmons to the mat! Timmons manages to get full guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Garcia has gone for a leg lock! Timmons slips out almost immediately though and dives into Garcia's guard.
Garcia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garcia is pulling down on Timmons's head to control his posture.

Garcia seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Timmons really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Johnny Garcia has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

and Garcia counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Timmons has his foot on Garcia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Garcia works his way back into a safe position though.

Timmons working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Garcia doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Garcia manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Timmons has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Garcia doesn't defend quickly enough and Timmons has managed to lock this one up! Can Garcia escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Timmons on a fantastic submission victory.
