PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Muhammad Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee blocks a head kick by Knight.
Knight ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lee moves away.
Knight throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lee throws a shot to the body.
Lee misses the jab.
Lee jabs at Knight's body.
Knight fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lee manages to avoid it.
Lee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Knight.
Knight misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
Knight keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Knight works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lee throws a shot from downtown. Knight moves away and avoids it.
Lee moves out of range of the strikes.
Lee throws a big shot that misses.
Knight tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lee lands with an uppercut that bounces Knight off the cage and back into range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knight looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Lee scores with a jab. Knight acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Lee lands with a straight right. Knight didn't see that one coming.
Lee wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lee works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Knight throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Knight misses with an uppercut. Lee saw that one coming.
Knight takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lee bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Knight's head.
Donk. Lee catches Knight right on the button with a cross.
Knight takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nice jab there from Lee.
Knight takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses.
Knight finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lee throws out a powerful jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Knight throws a nice inside leg kick.
Knight ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Knight closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
No joy there for Knight, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lee throws a shot to the body.
Knight looks gassed!
Lee stuns Knight with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Lee connects with a body shot that sends Knight's belly button to the back.
Lee is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Lee thuds his right hand into Knight's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Knight is rocked!
Lee works Knight's body with a nice hook.
Knight is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?
Knight takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Lee stuns Knight with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lee!
Lee closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Knight! Lee dives in looking to finish! Knight is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
