The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Twiggy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Twiggy throws a leg kick but Phillips sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Twiggy shoots in for a takedown but Phillips shows good takedown defense.
Phillips shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Twiggy pinned against the cage. Twiggy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Phillips closes this distance looking for a takedown but Twiggy circles away.
Twiggy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Phillips swivels and escapes.
Phillips drops Twiggy with a left and a right! Oh, Twiggy is hurt - Phillips dives into side control looking to finish!
Twiggy is rocked!
It looks like Diggy Twiggy has been cut.
Phillips grinds an elbow into Twiggy's temple.
Twiggy is still in real trouble! Can Phillips finish him?
Phillips scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Twiggy is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Phillips can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
