PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osmo Soininvaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mc Jitus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soininvaara kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is country shit remix- ludacris, big krit, bun b. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soininvaara takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Jitus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jitus is in the full mount, landing strikes.

It looks like Osmo Soininvaara has been cut.

Jitus is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Soininvaara to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Soininvaara shrugs it off.

Soininvaara got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jitus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Soininvaara has managed to get both his arms back between Jitus's legs - danger averted.

Soininvaara is standing up over Jitus. Jitus looks to escape but Soininvaara dives into side control.
A lull in the action here as Soininvaara stalls from top position.

Soininvaara thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jitus tries to roll over but Soininvaara keeps him under control.

Jitus utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mc Jitus dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jitus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Soininvaara closes the distance and pushes Jitus back into the cage.
Soininvaara stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Jitus tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Soininvaara just stands there and leans against the cage.

Osmo Soininvaara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mc Jitus.

Jitus is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Soininvaara can't fight it off and eventually Jitus manages to take the fight to the floor. Soininvaara looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Soininvaara slaps away a takedown attempt from Jitus, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Soininvaara digs a good body shot into Jitus's ribs.
Mc Jitus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soininvaara pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jitus back to the cage. Soininvaara follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Mc Jitus has been cut.
Soininvaara's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jitus under the eye.

Soininvaara throws a chopping leg kick but Jitus manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Jitus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Soininvaara sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jitus somewhat.

Soininvaara tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jitus was well out of range. Poor timing from Soininvaara.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Jitus takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Soininvaara cracks Jitus with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nice takedown defense from Soininvaara. No joy for Jitus on that attempt.
Jitus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Soininvaara paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Osmo Soininvaara is winning the standup battle so far.
Jitus shoots for a double leg takedown but Soininvaara sprawls well. He's pushed Jitus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A punch lands to the side of Jitus 's head but he takes it in his stride.
